Stephen Varghese

Stephen handles partnership strategy and operations at Ladder. Prior to Ladder, he worked at Capital One, where he worked on minimizing third-party fraud for small business banking customers. With close to a decade of experience in the fintech industry, Stephen has previously worked as a Private Equity investor at True North, one of India’s oldest and largest domestic PE funds. Prior to True North, he was part of the founding team at Fincare Small Finance Bank, a challenger bank fostering India’s financial inclusion journey. Stephen holds an engineering degree from IIT Madras and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
